We are very excited that we have a canopy for the patio area which has been making our davening experience more pleasant - rain or shine

ReOpening Minyan at ASKT - Message from Rabbi Kalmar
We are continuing weekday minyanim outside starting Sunday morning August 23rd and an outdoor minyan for Shabbat, August 29th. The procedures we are putting in place for all the minyanim are on the shul website. I know that there are very different opinions about what is safe and what is required for this to happen. I am asking everyone to be tolerant and understanding of other people's points of view as we navigate this re-opening.
Gan Nachshon is Open We want to let everyone know that the playground in our backyard, Gan Nachshon, is open. Named in memory of Nachshon Eckhardt, z'l, the playground was made possible by a generous donation by Nachshon's great uncle and also by the hard work and efforts of his cousin, Akiva Karan.
Many young families have already made use of this beautiful playground. May it's use be a boon to our children and families, and be a blessing to the memory of a wonderful young boy who is dearly missed.
We also want to acknowledge the generous funds donated by the estate of Roberta Forman. z'l, which laid the groundwork for the playground and for youth activities in our shul.
The playground is open to our shul members. There is a sanitizer dispenser at the entrance to the playground attached to the shed. Click Here to "See the Playground being Built"

ASKT Chavrutah Program: Would you like to study Torah with a partner in the ASKT community? If you are interested in learning with someone via phone, zoom or perhaps in person (we will leave that up to you to work out with your learning partner) please email, asktshul@gmail.com and let us know. Also, let us know what you are interested in studying with a partner and how often. Studying Torah (whether it is Tanach (Bible), Halacha (Halacha), Talmud, Mishna, Hashkafa (Jewish thought), Mussar (ethics), or some other area) is edifying, it's interesting, it's challenging, it's life changing, it's a mitzvah and it is what has kept us Jews alive and kicking for so long. This is for men and women of all ages and all skill levels. No learning matches will be made without consulting with all parties first. We will be pairing up men to learn with men and women to learn with women.
