Cholent Madness Sign Up - We will be starting Cholent Madness at the end of November so get those recipes ready!  If you would like to participate, please speak with Rabbi Kalmar.  We need a volunteer to be the Cholent Czar this year to help organize this year's contest.  Please speak to Rabbi Kalmar if you would consider it.   This year you have another chance at glory and your name on the ASKT Cholent Cup!

Shabbat MKE: The Wisconsin Unity Shabbat will revolve around the theme "ViAhavta LiReiacha Kamocha - Love your fellow as yourself" We will have Ashley Blaker as our 'comedian' in Residence that Shabbat and he will be sharing with us talks about his journey and other topics.

Sponsorship Opportunities - connected to the Achdut weekend - 1. Adam Margolis and Friends will be playing some music and doing Havdallah at the Saturday night event.  To sponsor the musicians, please contact Rabbi Kalmar.  2. Kiddush that Shabbat will be a catered community kiddush luncheon which will follow Ashley Blaker's talk on his Jewish Journey and we would like to find a sponsor for that.  Please contact Rabbi Kalmar as well if you would like to help sponsor that kiddush.

Friday Night, November 15: Shabbat Dinner at 5:15pm followed by a talk by Ashley - "Being Frum (Religious) in the Workplace" at 7 pm. Early Bird Special - Friday night catered Chinese dinner will cost $23.00 per adult, Kids 10 and under - $13 if you sign up before November 7th. Tree of Life: To honor the memory of Lorraine Cohen, her loving family has donated a beautiful Tree of Life plaque to ASKT. Leaves can be purchased and inscribed to honor a person, recognize a special occasion or to remember a special loved one. Top leaves in brass: donation of $360 Bottom leaves in bronze: $180. Kids Safety Request - We ask that no kids should be playing in the parking lot and the Green Bay Ave sides of the shul for safety and security reasons. Kids may play on the cement patio area outside of the social hall.
 
Safety of ASKT - The front door to ASKT is locked at all times for the safety and security of our members, guests and staff. If it is not Shabbat or Yom Tov please push the ring doorbell and someone will answer the door. If it is Shabbat or Yom Tov we have a security guard and an usher who will let you in. If it is Shabbat or Yom Tov and no one is present please use the lower level entrance.
