Matanot L'evyonim: Please contact Rabbi Kalmar at rabbikalmar@asktshul.com to donate and fulfill the important mitzvah of Matanot L'evyonim (Funds for those in need) on Purim Day. There are many people in need in our community and this is a day for helping them!
Proposed Mission Statement: “Anshe Sfard Kehillat Torah is an Orthodox synagogue welcoming a diverse Jewish population. We foster prayer, learning, personal growth, a sense of community and a strong love for the State of Israel, all in accordance with Torah principles and Jewish law.” The Executive Committee, Co-Presidents, Ben Karan and Steve Baruch and Rabbi Kalmar invite feedback which will be discussed at the next Executive board meeting. Need A Few Good Men - winter minyan commitment schedule and are looking for men to sign up for individual minyanim - morning or evening, out of the 11 weekly weekday minyanim that we have. Sun., March 8: The Milwaukee Chevra Kadisha will host a gathering from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the ASKT social hall to mark the yahrtzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu (OK, we're several days late), to honor Chevra Kadisha members, and to have a training and refresher session on doing taharas. All are welcome.

If it is not Shabbat or Yom Tov please push the ring doorbell and someone will answer the door. If it is Shabbat or Yom Tov we have a security guard and an usher who will let you in.
